Moms, Any saving money tips you would like to share?
    Or advice?
Do you go through the weekly flyers and make a grocery list and stock your pantry with things that are on sale?
Which are good items that you never really pay full price for?

Where do you get the majority of your coupons?

    Don’t have kids =)

***Hey can someone give me td’s please, lol… Try Eversave.com they are the only place where I have gotten coupons that are truly free on-line. Also, go to Walgreens, Rite-Aid websites and check the flyers each week. Same with your local grocery store. Sign up at Huggies.com for coupons for wet wipes and diapers (if you need those).

    Hope this helps!

Aldis. It has to be the best place to get groceries. You can leave with a full cart, and pay the same amount as you would for a few bags from Walmart. Price chopper is really expensive, so I got a chopper shopper card, and only get items that are on sale that week. It’ll save you a pretty good amount.

i get most of the coupons in the mail. I go thru it everytime and see if there is anything i need is on sale and then go get some with the coupon. I don’t really stock up things because i tend to forget about them.

I rarely pay full price for my kid’s clothing, i always shop from discounted store or outlets, or wait until the end of the season when they are on sale.

i never pay full price for large ticket items- fridges, dishwashers etc. All it takes is to say ‘and how much are you going to knock off for me?’ cause you can always shop elsewhere! My favorite is saying ‘i’ll take this dented floor model off your hands if you knock $___ off it.’ i did that once for a dryer, and he took about $70 off it, and then it was less hassle just to get me a boxed one from out the back anyway! hahaha.

Also, when hubby’s pay comes in, we pay the rent, and any other bills/ credit card. and put at least half of what’s left in an account we can’t access with a card, and then we pretend we don’t have that money, just what’s left in the access account.

I shop at thrift stores, secondhand stores, Goodwill, Salvation Army.

I have a BJ’s Wholesale Club membership and occasionally borrow my friend’s Sam’s Club membership. We get diapers, wipes, cooking oil, laundry detergent, and other large quantity items there. It is totally worth the membership fee! You can make that much of a profit back in one shopping trip there. (BJ’s is $45 a year)

At the grocery store there is a damaged goods section that sells dented cans, smushed boxes, etc. at half price. They also sell yesterday’s pastries and breads which to be honest, its not like I’m going to eat them all in the first day anyway, why not buy yesterday’s baked goods at half price?

When ordering anything online search for coupon codes for that website. Retailmenot.com is a good site for that.

That way I save money and have extra to spend on getting high quality organic stuff which is more expensive. :)

I sign up for all the manufacturer’s sites, like gerber, huggies, luvs, enfamil, etc, I get tons of samples and coupons. I am stocking up on diapers now, and have not paid full price once, I have got anywhere from $5 to 50cents off per pack!

I comb the flyers pretty good each week, and I play the other grocery stores against each other. Walmart will price match, so I utilize that. I also buy all our snacks and silly treats like popcorn and pretzals and little Debbie snacks at the dollar store, so I get those cheap.
I also am part of Huggies and Pamper’s diaper club and get steep discounts there.
I also save all our coins. We have about a dozen piggy banks for our son, and when they all get full, we put the money into a CD for him.
